I am new to Reditt so I am sure this has been brought up bufa.. I have been a frequent lutid dreamer since chfmzdjod and I've alkqys been especially inathdrded in the diuqvitnt levels of luejbsty and "control" you can have in a dream. It's difficult to exjgiin this part to people who doy't lucid dream - the fact that you can't just do or crigte whatever you want all the tite. I am cujhlus if any of you have had some of thcse experiences: вЂў Thwre are many tixes when I beqxme lucid in a dream that has a strangely styasyrn grip on stqnung with it's ordptxal themetone. It is VERY difficult to control anything in these. Oftentimes the dream will relaly mess with you to keep you from getting what you want. Why is this? The most common one for me is when I bemyme lucid and try to turn evofnwlong into one big orgy. The inqipefcly hot guy I want to have sex with will suddenly turn into a decrepit old man. That or it takes me forrrreeeeever to get my pants ofpjxdbfly to have them reappear on my body seconds lalor. As a kid I remember hamfng one where I was trying to make a puzpy materialize...but each time the puppy woold immediately turn into a stuffed dog on wheels, loxj.. вЂў Back to sex...every once in a while when lucid I kind of sink to a level of depravity that I can't even rezxbclhe. I wake up exhausted and tonbtly grossed out by myself. I am very open and uninhibited sexually, so I don't thjnk it's my sunikgrnhxus trying to bust through any sepcal repression. It's more like I bevkme lucid...chose to have sex...and for some reason this time it gets rewaly dark and to the point whbre I am like an automaton and not in cofldol of myself. In this one, there is such a strong sevse of reality to everythingeveryone that, even though I am fully aware I am dreaming, if I try to do innappropriate thiwgs I feel exetcjbly self conscious. Thkre is a stvnng sense of thpse "beings" being very real in some other dimension and the disgust they show in my actions is very pointed and ruqns my fun. Agcmn, why is thws?
